I keep going back and forth on how I feel about LLMs in general. Some days it feels like the most fun I’ve had building software in years, ideas that would’ve sat in a notes file for months are now an afternoon away. Other days it feels like the ground is moving under my feet and I’m not sure where it’s going to settle.

I don’t think both feelings are mutually exclusive, and I’ve been listening to what peers have to say about them, it’s a decisive moment in our lifetime. What I’m sure of is that ignoring it isn’t an option, and that the people who will get the most out of it are the ones who stay curious and keep their judgment sharp, instead of handing it over.
